Who We Are

Busbys Solicitors is a team of highly experienced lawyers based in Bude, Cornwall and Holsworthy, Devon. The team members are:

John Busby BA

John is a graduate of Durham University, and has been in the law for over 30 years. He is a member of the Law Society Family Law and Personal Injury Panels, Resolution and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also a civil mediator.

Areas of work: Personal injury compensation, clinical negligence claims, divorce and separation, business law, children law, disability rights, probate.

Robert Allin

Robert is a solicitor of more than 27 years’ standing. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Areas of work: Divorce and separation, children law, accident claims, housing and contractual disputes.

David is a notary public and has been a solicitor for more than 30 years, mainly in S.E. England where he had a very successful commercial and private property practice.

Areas of work: Business law, commercial property and house sales/purchases.

Sharon Piper

Sharon has worked for John for over 20 years. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Areas of work: Probate and Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Care for the Elderly and Enduring Powers of Attorney. Sharon also has extensive experience of litigation and house sales and purchases.

Ian Osborne

Ian has worked with John for a number of years as a conveyancing executive after relocating from a large North West practice.

Areas of work: House sales and purchases, commercial transactions.

Sally Loudwill MCMI

Sally is Busbys’ Practice Manager and has worked with John for many years. She is a member of the Chartered Management Institute.
